We keep track of points for the year. At the last tournament before the Presidents Invitational, we will add up the points to determine who will be invited to play at the prestigious Presidents Invitational at Taquitz Creek Golf Resort in Palm Springs, CA.

The top 8 players who has the most points will be invited to play, however, the top 4 point earners, will not only be invited to play, but their entire green fees will be paid for! You must be a member to be invited to the Invitational.

This is why you want to play in the tournaments! Aside from having a great time with a good group of people and play some golf, you earn points along the way. Win..get the top points. The more you play, the more points you will recieve. So don't miss out on them.

The points system is simple. If we have 22 players for the tournament, the points will be distributed like this: 1st place = 22 points, 2nd place = 21 points, 3rd place = 20, etc., etc.

In the event of net score tie between two or more players, the, same point value will be awarded to each player.

The reason why 1st place gets 22 points for each 1st place win, is because we have 22 official members in our club as of today. So whether all 22 members play or just 10, first place will always receive 22 points and second would receive 21, etc., etc. This makes the point distribution fair across the board among players. Next year if we have 30 members, then 1st place points win will be 30 points, 2nd, 29 points, etc., etc.
