• We keep track of points for the year. At the end of the year, we will add up the points and award the overall #1 rank points leader with an award.
  
  This is why you want to play in the tournaments! Aside from having a great time with a good group of people and play some golf, you earn points along the way. Win..get the top points. The more you play, the more points you will recieve. So don't miss out on them.
  
  The points system is simple. If we have 15 players for the tournament, the points will be distributed like this: 1st place = 15 points, 2nd place = 14 points, 3rd place = 13, etc. etc.
  
  In the event of net score tie between two or more players, the, same point value will be awarded to each player.
  
  The reason why 1st place gets 15 points for each 1st place win, is because we have 15 official members in our club as of today. So whether all 15 members play or just 10, first place will always receive 15 points and second would receive 14, etc. etc. This makes the point distribution fair across the board among players. Next year if we have 25 members, then 1st place points win will be 25 points, 2nd. 24 point, etc.etc.
